The committee felt Ms. Moffat had the experience and the background to make sound decisions to move the school district forward through this difficult fiscal periods. As the incumbent, she has developed connections to the business community and understanding of the issues concerning the Orange Chamber of Commerce. She also has a history of connecting education with business through the Orange Chamber of Commerce Leadership Orange program, which she managed.
